A stand-out among the hundreds upon hundreds of choices in Curry Hill. The vegetarian food, which takes full advantage of fresh vegetables, cheeses, and traditional Indian spices, is heavy with flavor, and the menu offers a number of lighter options (try the steamed momo dumplings, chickpea salad and pau bahji - a spiced vegetable mash accompanied with homemade pau bread). Even better, the atmosphere is appealing, with soft lighting and exposed brick walls. Definitely not your typical take-out-only Indian.
