la bonne soupe

It isn't always easy to find pre-theater dining spots that aren't packed with tourists and over-priced food. This cozy little bistro - close enough to walk to the theater but far enough away to remain relatively un-chaotic - is one of my favorites. The atmosphere is casual and the food both inexpensive and delicious: the soups are hearty, the crepes delicate, and the omelettes light and fluffy. But the best part about La Bonne Soupe is that feels like a neighborhood cafe - a rare find this close to the theater district.
